The Little Apple

Hey everybody! Hope you're all doing well so this week was another
really good one. We made a lot of progress with Jack and he is praying
about baptism on the 4th of march. We also were able to find some
really cool people, one guy named derrick we met at the park playing
basketball. We talked to him for a bit and got him to come over to the
church to play some ball with us, he came and we played ball with him
for a bit and then gave him a church tour, it was a really good lesson
and he really enjoyed the church. So that was great.

On Tuesday I was in Manhattan, aka The Little Apple. Home of Kansas
State University. I was on exchanges with elder tippets, it was a good
time. A member gave us money to go out to eat on Valentine's Day too,
so that was pretty awesome.  I love Manhattan, we got to see the
campus and the football stadium. It was pretty sweet.

We had a lot of people committed to church, Brett's family was going
to come but they were in Topeka on Saturday and they were driving home
and their tire blew out, so they weren't able to make it... but he
will be there next week.

Transfers!

Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing well. This week was really awesome! It was transfers so I got a new companion named Elder Labrum, he's awesome and we are having a lot of fun! It was sad saying goodbye to Elder Crane, he went to Hays to be the district leader there, he's going to do awesome things over there. Brett was baptized on Saturday and I had the opportunity to baptize him which was a great experience. I'm so excited for Brett and his decision to take this step, he's an awesome kid and he will be an awesome member of the church.We met this guy who says he is a member and was baptized when he was 12, he has a family now and we are going to start teaching all of them!

 I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve here in Kansas, I know the Lord sent me here for a reason and I am absolutely loving it. Thank you all for everything! Have a good week!

Transfers!

Hello everyone! So this week was really awesome! We got to see Gloria
baptized! It was an awesome experience to be able to baptize her, when
she came out of the water she kept saying "thank you lord" and she got
emotional. It was so cool to see her enter the waters of baptism and
start that journey to our father in heaven.

So this week is transfers! And I'm getting transferred........ I'm
getting transferred to, The Junction City Branch! So I'll be moving
across town haha. My new companion is Elder Labrum! I'm really
excited, it's going to be a fun transfer! Elder Herbine is going to be
training a new missionary and he will also be our district leader!
Elder Crane will be leaving to Hays to be he district leader there.
I'm going to miss him but he's going to do great things in his new
area.

On Friday I hit my 6 month mark! So Elder Crane and I went on
exchanges that day and that was really fun. I learned a lot from him,
he's a really great missionary and it's crazy we have been out 6
months!

The first 6 months of my mission are over, I've learned so much and
changed so much. I have really come to know my savior and it has
already been a life changing experience. I am excited for the next 18
months and I know I am going to continue to learn every day and become
better through the atonement of Jesus Christ. I love and miss you all!

Bakers Dozen

Hey everyone! This week was fantastic! I fell even more in love with
Junction City and the people here. We were able to see some really
awesome miracles this week. On Tuesday we had dinner at the senior
missionaries house with Gloria and then we had a really spiritual
lesson with her and committed her to be baptized on the 4th. She is
awesome and we are really excited for her.

We also had a couple meetings this week including the worldwide
missionary broadcast which made some changes to our schedule and key
indicators. Then on Thursday was my birthday and we got to spend it in
a meeting all day!(: it was actually really good and I learned a lot,
they also announced that we are now approved to use iMessage and skype
to help build faith in our investigators, we are going to be getting
facebook soon as well. So on Friday we were able to have a good Skype
lesson with one of our investigators that lives pretty far away and
now he is committed to live the word of wisdom and be baptized on the
11th!

This week was really good and we are starting to see our work pay off.
This transfer has flown by! Next week is transfers so we will see what
happens, hopefully I'm staying in Junction, but whatever happens will
be fine. Anyways I hope you're all doing well! Thanks for all the
