Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the march
madness! This week is transfers and I am getting transferred to
Lawrence, KS, home of the Kansas Jayhawks! I am very excited to go
over there, I've always wanted to serve in Lawrence so it should be
awesome! I am very sad to leave Junction though... there are so many
awesome people here and I'm really going to miss them.
This week was really one of the best I've had on my mission. We had a
miracle with Brett's mom and dad, so last week we had dinner at the
brinkerhoffs with them and taught them a lesson and Clay, Brett's step
dad, was not really into it, he told us he wasn't much of a religious
guy but Saturday we went over to their house and he ran up to us and
told us he had a spiritual awakening and that he wants to start coming
to church! Then on Sunday they came to the mission presidents
devotional and that was such an amazing meeting, the spirit was so
strong. Dani, Brett's mom, got up and bore her testimony about how
much this gospel has changed their families life, and she's not even
baptized yet! They both have strong desire to be baptized and learn
more. We are going over there to teach them again tomorrow.
The mission presidents devotional was seriously so good, president
mccuiston told us his conversion story and we also heard testimonies
from recent converts and members, the spirit was amazing there. My
testimony was strengthened so much this week, I really do know how
much this gospel changes lives and I've seen so many examples of that
his week. I love and miss you all! Go Jayhawks!

March Madness, March 13, 2017
Hey everyone! This week was super good! We saw some awesome miracles
and really saw the lords hand every single day. On Friday we played
football with our investigators 8 year old son Eli and that was really
fun. After we played we had ice cream and taught his mom Adreanna
about the word of wisdom, she says it will be hard but she is going to
live it so she can be baptized! She came to church on Sunday and had a
good experience there so we are excited for her and Eli! They can be
baptized on the 25th if everything goes smoothly.
We also have been working with Nate Busby who is friends with Donovan
who is a member in the ward. He is doing well and he is getting
married and giving up smoking so he can be baptized. Also we have been
working with Brett's mom and we had dinner over at the senior
missionaries house with Brett and his mom and after dinner she said
she had an announcement to make, she then went on to tell us all that
she will be stopping smoking so she can get baptized! It was awesome
and none of us were expecting it. We are excited for her!
We had interviews and Zone conference last week as well so we got to
see some old friends which is always good!
I hope you're all doing well! Love and miss you guys! Have a good week
and go Jayhawks!

Junction City, KS March 6th
Hello everyone! First off I want to just say thank you all so much for
all of your support! It's been quite a while since I left. I hit my 7
month mark on Friday! I have loved my mission so far and know that
Kansas is where I am meant to be. It has been hard at some points but
I am grateful for all of the experiences I have had up to this point.
So this week... about a week or so ago we met this guy named Derek at
the park shooting hoops. We have been meeting with him and playing
basketball with him a lot and one day we were going to see another one
of our investigators named Von and when he opened the door, we see
Derek. They are friends and so we are now working with both of them,
they are awesome and we play basketball and then have a lesson with
them a lot so it's a lot of fun.
We had the awesome opportunity of being able to go see a K State
basketball game on Saturday with Derek and a recent convert named
Miguel. They are some funny dudes so it was a very entertaining day to
say the least haha. K State got the win over the Red Raiders so we
were all happy about that. It was Derek and Miguel's first college
basketball game so they absolutely loved it.
On Sunday Brett got the priesthood! It was awesome to see that, his
mom and sister came to church to see that as well so it was super
awesome. Their family is awesome and we are working with Brett's mom
now.
It was an awesome week! We had so much fun every day! I'm really
starting to love junction city. We have a blast every day while doing
the work. The people here are awesome and I've made some great
friendships.
Thank you all again for all the support! I love you all and hope
you're all doing well. I miss you but love it out here in Kansas. Have
a great week!

Hello everyone!
This week was really good. I was sick for the first half which was
pretty crumby... but I'm doing good now! Not too much happened this
week besides we had 5 investigators at church on Sunday which was
really good. Dillon is an awesome guy and he came with his girlfriend.
He is in the army and he drives a sweet jeep! He came in his suit
looking fly as can be, we have had a couple of lessons with him and he
really likes the church and it's teachings. Adreanna and her son Ian
came as well. They are awesome and we have been working with them for
a couple of weeks.
I miss you all! I am grateful for this opportunity to teach people the
gospel of Jesus Christ! It is the best thing in the world. Faith,
repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the
end. We can continue this cycle every day and every week when we
partake of the sacrament. This is our road map back to our father in
heaven. I love this gospel and what it's done for me and the people
out here. I hope you all use these steps in your lives because they
are what bring us true happiness. I love you guys. I hope you're all
doing good!
