Hey Everyone! My second week at the MTC was great! We taught some new people which was great and I guess some of them were real investigators. I love teaching, it is the best part. Sometimes me and my companion don't know what we are going to say beforehand, but once we get in there, the spirit tells us what we need to say. It is such a cool thing.
So this last week there were posters all over the MTC that said Devotional Speaker: Elder Holland, so as you can imagine the whole MTC was so excited to hear him speak to us, but it turns out he was speaking at the BYU devotional, and that was really sad, and I have no idea why they are advertising a BYU devotional since we can't even leave the MTC. So we were pretty mad about that but it turned out fine. The speaker was Bonnie Oscarson, the Young Womens General President. She spoke on how this mission is going to make us into what God wants us to be, it was really good, but still not Elder Holland good :/
My whole district loves to play sand volleyball. So everyday we go play that, we are getting really good so when I get back you all better watch out.
We tried to do more room inspections, but the Zone Leaders told us that we shouldn't do that again because it might "scare them" so we had to obey.
The MTC food is sooooo old. I don't enjoy it at all. They do have chocolate milk and soda so that makes it better. I'm ready to get out to the field but have enjoyed my time at the MTC. Next time you'll hear from me, I'll be in Kansas! Love you all! Thanks for all your support.
