Hey everyone! This week has been really good and got even better
yesterday. We have kept working with our two solid people and they
have had some hard stuff we are trying to help them work through. But
yesterday we had a miracle, an investigator that we didn't think was
progressing very well, had a desire to come to church, so she came to
church with her friend and that was super cool! Also we taught this
family with 4 daughters that are not baptized but the mom is, so they
have been coming to church for the past few weeks, so we are hoping
they will all get baptized very soon!
On Wednesday we got a call from this lady in Salina and she told us
she wanted us to go give this person in the hospital a blessing, it
was awkward, but really cool! On Wednesday we were driving and we saw
this lady crying, so we parked and talked to her, it turns out she is
a member but is inactive, she had just gotten kicked out of her
boyfriends house, and had gone through a lot of hard stuff, so we
helped her, we let her use our phone, and she was able to find her
friend and stay with her. I know we were placed in her path so that we
could help her, it was really cool to help her out.
On Thursday we had Specialized training in Junction City, I reunited
with Elder Crane and Elder Stirling from the MTC. That was good to see
those guys again.
Friday was Elder Madson's birthday, we ate at a members house and then
went to the football game with a member and our investigator, we found
some new investigators there as well. It was homecoming and it was a
pretty good game.
On Saturday we did a lot of service. We ran into this Jehovah's
Witness, so we "talked" to her, that was fun haha.
Sunday was full of miracles, we had Cindy and her friend at church,
and we found those girls to teach! It was super awesome. We are
excited for General Conference next weekend! Thanks for all your
